Hello everyone!
My name is Dom. I'm a violinist who has a passion for music. I wanted to start playing the violin in 4th Grade, but my mom couldn't afford one. I started play last year when I saw my favorite artist, Lindsey Stirling, perform at the Warfield in San Francisco. I'm currently 4th chair in the 1st violin section in my High-Schools Orchestra, and I have been invited to join my counties Honor Orchestra where I will be in the 1st violin section. I absolutely love the violin and orchestra music. I love playing in an orchestra because I get to meet people who not only play the violin, but the Viola and Cello as well.
I created this forum so that I could meet even more people who love to play their instrument. I hope meet lots of new players and old players alike so that we can all help each other grow as musicians.
Finally, if I could give any new player advice it's this. Keep practicing! If you can get through the squeaks and bad intonation you get access to a whole new world of experiences that only a musical instrument can give you!
